Story
As a society we all take our mobile phones for granted. Most of us shop on our devices, bank on them and make beautiful memories with photo's and video's. But for many following a cancer diagnosis this luxury becomes a lifeline within seconds.
I was once told that a person had to choose between mobile phone credit to keep their family updated with their treatments and hospital transportation for the treatment because their monthly allowance did not cover both. This can lead onto many more psychological problems such as isolation.
I have also been told by a young mother of three that the SIM card simPal supported her with, she was able to take her children to the park for Ice cream, instead of topping up her phone, something much more important when living with cancer.
simPal is the only charity in the UK which supports people living with cancer by providing FREE pre-paid SIM cards and where required mobile phones, £10 can keep a family connected for 30 days.
Please help me raise as much money as possible to support more lifelines across the UK.
Thank you.
