Story
I have decided to raise money for Blind Veterans UK as my late Grandad who was in the REME fought in World War 2 and sustained injuries which subsequently led to loss of sight in one of his eyes.
By running for Blind Veterans UK I will be providing direct support to vision impaired members of the Armed Forces, helping those in need to relearn vital life skills and providing them with the tools they need to be independent.
I am hoping to complete the marathon with a sub 3hr 30 m time. To do this I plan to have a structured and arduous training regime, swapping many of my weights sessions with runs of varying lengths.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, any donation large or small is massively appreciated! I will keep you all updated as to how my training is going!
