I am taking on the Zip World Velocity in Bethesda - the longest zip wire in Europe and the fastest in the world! 

Blind Veterans UK is a fantastic charity. It's no exaggeration to say that they taught me how to be blind. They gave me a reason, gave me that motivation to make goals again, and for that I will remain eternally grateful.

After leaving the forces I trained as a hypnotherapist. Initially, once I lost my sight I had to stop, but once Blind Veterans UK came along I was able to start again as they built a studio in my garden, which has been fantastic. I now work as a therapist, counsellor and hypnotherapist, so the degree will be a great way of underlining everything and formalising my credentials. They have given me so much over the past few years and the support is just fantastic. I am really looking forward to giving back to the charity.
