Fundraising for Kidney Research UK
This page has been set up in loving memory of Steve Bulley who sadly passed away on 21st December 2021. Steve was a caring Daddy, selfless Husband, loving Son and Brother and a genuine friend to many. Known as Whizz by many his determination and strong willed character was something we will all admire and remember. He had a huge passion for football especially his team, West Ham United - COYI!
Kidney Research UK has been a huge part of Steve’s life for many years. Steve had a successful kidney transplant in January 2011. Before that he had been on dialysis for years whilst waiting for a match.
Steve and I have always raised money for this amazing charity through fundraising events. We both completed the London bridges memory walk in June 2016 (as shown in the photos). We walked 7 emotional miles over 6 of the capitals iconic bridges. It was hard work for Steve having knee and hip replacements when he was young but he pushed through the pain and would never give up.
Thank you for taking the time to visit this page and to read Steve’s story. The kind words I have received and memories you’ve shared with me I’ll treasure forever. Steve will always be in our thoughts and will be missed by so many of us.
