My son Freddie whitmore was born 8 weeks premature, weighing 4Ibs and spent nearly 3 weeks intensive care. Just writing those words brings tears to my eyes and makes me quite emotional. We were lucky he was able to leave the hospital, growing up to be strong and healthy boy, taller then his father and better looking, if you believe him. This wasn’t the case for so many other babies who entered intensive care at the same time as Freddie.
