Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Those of you who knew me when I was six stone heavier and a committed couch potato, will be surprised to hear that this Easter I will be doing a sponsored hike to the top of Mount Snowdon.
The walk is to raise funds for Khalsa Aid, this charity is run by Sikhs but has the motto “Recognise the whole human race as one.” It provides aid to the victims of war, disaster or oppression regardless of race or religion. Recent projects have helped people in Afghanistan, Haiti and Libya.
Although I’m a lot fitter than I was, it’s still going to be a challenge for me to make it, so every penny you can give will help encourage me to get to the top. More importantly, because Khalsa Aid is run entirely by volunteers, every penny will go to help a person in desperate need.
