Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 11th September myself and 3 friends will set off from St Bees in Cumbria on the start of a 190 mile trek across England to Robin Hood's bay. With the intention of completing the journey in 8 days - 7 days of 23 miles and a final day of 29 miles, covering the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors.
Apart from the fact that we all obviously require psychiatric help we have each selected a charity to do this trek in aid of - my charity is The North Staffs Kidney Patients Association. This is a purely donation funded association that helps renal failure patients to have a better quality of life by providing help, support and equipment that they cannot get from the NHS. I have seen the work they do as my dad went into renal failure a few years ago and these people have helped to show him that here is still a life to be had, even if you're on dialysis 3 times a week! Any and all donations are gratefully received, please give as generously as you can and I'll promise to post the photo's of me in pain completing the trek :)
Thanks, Steve
