Story
Thank you for visiting my page
A few months ago my younger sister found out that she has developed Hodgkin's Lymphoma, this is a cancer that affects the lymph tissue found in the lymph nodes, spleen, liver, bone marrow, and other sites.
Considering that my sister Sam will only be turning 21 on the 18th of May, you can imagine the range of emotions that Sam, my family and I have been going through. However through all of this, Sam has remained strong and her only worry has been the eventual loss of hair due to the chemo.
Sam started her chemo last week and will have to go through 24 gruelling weeks as well as suffering the pain of loosing her pretty long hair. With this in mind I have chosen to shave my hair off for her and hopefully raise some money for Cancer Research in the process.
If you know me really well you will understand that this is a most frightening prospect for me to effectively go bald as I love my hair so much, but it will be nothing in comparison to what Sam will have to go through and I want to support her in anyway I can.
I'm hoping to do this on 9th April and am going to give Sam control of the clippers!
