Story

Please sit down. This will come as a shock. Yes, I am actually doing a physical challenge, that requires TRAINING. Who mentioned mid life crisis. Anyhow a perfectly formed group of us are, over the weekend of 18 / 19 May, are undertaking the 3 Peaks Challenge. What is it? Well I wish I'd asked before entering, but have now found out that it is the process of climbing the highest mountains (hills?) in Scotland, England and Wales in under 24 hours. Mmmm.

In return for providing such entertainment to you, and to spur me on through the dark hours (literally dark, apparently), could you please  show your support and sponsor me to raise funds for CRY .

In 2009, my brother in law, Neil, died at the age of 34 from an undiagnosed heart condition which caused his heart to just stop. Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. The recent collapse of Fabrice Muamba, and death of the Italian footballer Morosini being high profile recent cases. CRY aims to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening of the young.  CRY also offer tremendous support for those dealing with the bereavement of loved ones.

Please take a moment of your time to sponsor me and help give me an incentive to get to the top of those mountains (ok, hills!!).

Many thanks in advance for your kind support,

Steve
