Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is my last London Marathon!

After 20 years of running for children's charities I have decided to dedicate my final run to the Alzheimer's Society.  Very few of us can say that they haven't been directly affected by dementia. Working at Woodbridge School and also as an officer of the Seckford Foundation I hear from pupils and friends who have grandparents and family members being diagnosed with this terrible illness. The work of the Society is crucial for our future generations and I am delighted to highlight their cause this year.

I am also so proud to announce that the Seckford Almshouses in Woodbridge have instigated Dementia Days at the Day Centre, this will give both the sufferers and carers of Woodbridge a much needed break.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
