At the age of 53 Stephen was suddenly diagnosed with terminal cancer in October 2016. Only giving him up to 4 months to live. 

After a fight which he did to the very end, Stephen was taken from us peacefully at the Earl Mountbatten Hospice in June 2017 . 


Stephen was the most funniest, kind hearted gentleman you could of known , and nothing would of been to much trouble for him to help you . 


We feel so passionate about The Earl Mountbatten, as it is such a wonderful Hospice and we are so grateful to have this on the Isle of Wight. The Gift of the dedication and support of the staff, not only to Stephen but to us his family made his last days comfortable and dignified. 

So this is why as a very strong and close family we would like to do multiple challenges in honour of our amazing  Husband, Dad , Grandfather, Son , Brother and Friend to help raise money in his name for The Hospice . 

By raising £7000 this will provide double of .......

 
£3,500 means that we can:
* provide 8 patients with one month’s supply of medication and pain relieving drugs
* provide one month of highly specialised nursing care and support to patients and their families
* pay for 3 syringe drivers to relieve pain and discomfort for patients by controlling their medication
* pay for a highly specialised, pressure relieving mattress to give the greatest comfort possible to a dying patient on our hospice ward
