John was a special pal from school through college and was recently killed on his cycle home in Leeds. John was inspirational, kind, funny, intelligent and extreamly talented. I'd like to do this to start off the year on a high and it has to be something crazy as John was never dull.  My mum is a keen cyclist and I want to help support cycling safety for her and all cyclists who use the roads.

I will be running from John's home in Barrow to earnse bay and jumping into the cold harsh Irish Sea...don't worry it's a Barrow tradition and coast guards come to watch and oversea our madness.
