Jailbreak · 28 October 2011
Hi, I am Stephanie. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I took part in a charity event called JailBreak challenge to fundraise for KidsCan in Oct.
KidsCan is a charity based in Salford which supports research on children cancer and treatments. Tragically, 1 in 500 children will be diagnosed with cancer in the UK this year, and 30% of these children will not survive. KidsCan is striving to reduce that figure through groundbreaking research.
The object of the Jailbreak challenge is to get as far away from Manchester as possible without spending any money on travel in 30 hours. We managed to get to Manchester Airport, and get out of Manchester to Liverpool, Birmingham, London and Oxford without spending a penny in that challenge.
The target is £120, your donation is VERY important to help these children in need and every penny counts. You can donate through this website, http://www.justgiving.com/stephanie-lam or in person to me. These will go directly to KidsCan and this brings smiles back on children's little faces. :)
Feel free to contact me if you have any question or want to know more regarding to this charity event.
God bless you.
Love,
Stephanie
