Story

Thanks so much for visiting my JustGiving page!

Just a few words from me...

The reason is have taken on this challenge is to raise vital money for local charity Demelza Hospice Care for Children. Demelza Hospice Care for Children is a charity which offers much needed care for children who have a life threatening or a life limiting illness.  These children are unlikely to ever reach adulthood so your donation will help improve thier quality of life and support them and thier families during this difficult time.

Money raised from fundraising accounts for 80% of all their charitable income so your money really does make a difference! It will help provide planned trips for the children, palliative and end of life care as well as bereavement counselling for families.

As an asthmatic with two dodgy knees I am by far a 'natural runner' so this is a big personal challenge for me, but I am sure you will agree it is for a very worthy cause!

I have taken it upon myself to do my little bit to help them. In return I hope you can dig deep and do your little bit too.

Many thanks

Steph
