Ok! so here goes.
Thank you for visiting my page....no, really, thank you! :-)
I have decided that I want to raise funds for the excellent work of Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice; and here is how I plan to achieve my goal.
This summer the world is coming to London for a rather large sporting event, it's anticipated that 216 nations will compete from the 204 National Committees.
My challenge is to meet a person from as many of each of the competing nations as possible. However, they must be living or working within the London Boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley, and I have until July 27th to do this, the start of the games - this makes things a little more challenging!
To prove that I have met them I will have my photo taken with them and along with a sign indicating which country they are representing; I'm also going to blog about the people I meet and the general adventure I am sure this will become, you can follow the blog at: http://stephanie216fuller.blogspot.com/
It would be great if you could sponsor me, and to help you with the size of your sponsorship could I suggest the scale of sponsorship as below, for a starting point ;-)
0- 49 Countries £5
50- 99 Countries £10
100 - 149 Countries £15
150- 199 Countries £20
216 Countries £21.60 that's only 10pence a country!!
Your sponsorship will help the Hospice to continue to offer its special free care to over 2,000 people in Greenwich & Bexley who are suffering with a life-limiting illness, and to ensure that they, their families and carers receive the essential support they need when they need it most. It costs over 6 Million pounds each year to deliver these services free of charge to the community and only approximately 35% of this is funded from the government, meaning this year the hospice will need to raise around 4 million pounds within Greenwich & Bexley.
