Story
After saying I’d never do it again, I’m going to run the Great North Run this year in honour of my beautiful mother in law, Margaret who lost her courageous short battle to cancer in December. I want to challenge myself to complete this to raise money for the wonderful Hospice Carers who helped us as a family look after Margaret in her final days at home where she wanted to be surrounded by her family. These amazing people travelled far at all hours to relieve mums pain and make her more comfortable. The respect and care they showed her was incredible and will never be forgotten! They deserve the recognition as this charity is so poorly funded .Each £295 raised pays for 12 hours of valuable specialist hospice home support.
Thank you for any support you can give.
