Story

Most of you know my story - if not get a full update of my trials and tribulations on 24hrs in A&E, Series 11, Episode 5, Here we go again, on Channel 4  On Demand

http://www.channel4.com/programmes/24-hours-in-ae/on-demand/61753-032

Completing an Ironman has been on my bucket list forever and being diagnosed with H.O.C.M in 2001 seemed to put an end to that. However,  the diagnosis showed to be an opportunity to be a role model for people who have health issues. Since 2007 I have steadily built my health and fitness up to a point in 2015 where Ironman (or at least 70.3) became a possibility.

The journey to ironman has been a hard one - It's amazing how once you set a goal, events conspire to railroad you. Thankfully 2015's experience didn't stop me and I have a chance this year to accomplish a life long dream.

I hope my story serves as an inspiration to others that "...you can do it if you put your back into it :0)"  At the same time I am also using this challenge to raise money for an incredible organisation The London Ambulance Service: A group of individuals who saves lives like mine every day in what I imagine are often thankless and unforgiving circumstances. (http://www.londonambulance.nhs.uk/about_us.aspx)

Please  contribute to this very worthy cause

Thank you
