Supporting Hackney 1000, 16 May 2020
A celebration of our Hackney Quest community, raising money for our COVID-19 response, supporting local young people and families. Our staff, volunteers, young people and others connected with us are doing all kinds of challenges on May 16th & 17th!

Story

James and I are raising funds for Hackney Quest as part of the community Hackney 1000 event. Our challenge - first to run 5 miles back home and cook a pie (pie must be edible; microwave pies not allowed).

All money raised will go to supporting local young people & families through the COVID-19 crisis - delivering food, toiletries and IT equipment on a weekly basis; running online youth sessions; providing 1:1 mentoring over the phone; liaising with schools & other professionals to coordinate support; and helping other organisations in the local community.
