Story
Steeler Dan wasn't able to join in with last year's "Simmsy and friends" long walk; but this year he's doing the Weston Park Fun Run.
This continues the Steelers fundraising association with Weston Park Cancer Charity which was inspired by Steelers fan Amy Usher.

On Sunday 10th July at Graves Park, he will be running to raise money for Weston Park Cancer Charity.
All money raised will be donated directly to Weston Park Cancer Charity.
In a bid to fulfil Amy and her family's wishes and create a dedicated fund to improve the environment for Weston Park Hospital patients, the cancer charity has allocated all funds raised in Amy's name to a brand new isolated fund- ForAmy.
The fund, which has been set up in collaboration with Amy's parents
will enable friends and family of Amy to undertake fundraising in Amy's memory and allow her legacy to live on.
Charity Director, Samantha Kennedy said, " The charity is incredibly grateful to Amy's family for their continued support and also to the Sheffield Steelers for being instrumental in raising such impressive amounts over the last 2 years."
"The ForAmy fund will enable people to remember Amy in their own way and donate to specific projects which will help improve the lives of those fighting cancer today and in the future. Despite her own diagnosis, Amy thought only of others, and through this fund, we hope that other patients and families will see the benefits through difficult times."
You can donate using this page, but you can also join in with the fun run - just doing the run helps raise money, and publicity, for the great work done by Weston Park.
