For our Captains' Charity we chose Nottinghamshire Hospice who are a local charity who do amazing work in supporting individuals, families, and carers. The hospice provides crucial palliative care in patients’ own homes during the last weeks, days and hours of their lives, and support for their families and carers. This care enables patients to be discharged from hospital to spend their last days at home with family around them. Hospice nursing teams support families 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in every neighbourhood of our city and county.
