Story
Stacey has lived with Poland Syndrome all of her life and wants to make people aware of this rare condition and its impact upon mental health. Its so hard when people don't know anything about your condition and to be a teenager going through surgeries and those difficult years when you are trying to get your head around body image. Stacey said "Being a female it was tough but you just get on with it but through teens and young age it really messes with your head".
Stacey wants to raise money for PIP-UK Poland Syndrome Support & Network to help towards getting more research off the ground so young ladies have much more information to make informed decisions about treatment.
Stacey is a keen runner and often runs to raise money for charity and this October would like to raise money for this cause that's so close to home and is running this one with mum Sharon too, her biggest supporter.
Thank you both so much for running for PIP-UK!
