Many of you will know that a dear friend of mine, Si Garrett, sadly made the decision to end his life early last year.
He broke many hearts and is greatly missed.  I have no doubt that everyone that knew him and cared about him has thought since "was there something I could have done so that this didnt happen?"
Sadly our opportunity has passed, but maybe we can raise awareness in Si's memory to help other people that also feel that suicide is the only way out.
I, along with some of Si's other friends will be taking part in CLASP's Walking out of Darkness, a 10 mile walk around Birmingham, in his memory to raise money for the charity and raise awareness of suicide prevention.
