Great Oaks is a donation only charity. 

Liz (Mum) passed away from a short but brave battle with cancer. As you know, Mum was the most vibrant and giving person in the world! To know her was to be truly loved. Her humour, zest for life and phenomenal musical talent will be remembered for many years to come. We are heartbroken to lose her and the world will be a dull place without her here. Mum was surrounded by her family as she passed, amazing all the doctors with her strength and will power. 

Great Oaks offered amazing support for us as Mum was cared for at home in her final weeks, the staff were amazing and took her dark humour in their strides and many of them told us how much they loved coming to Mum and Dean's beautiful home to care for her. 

Due to the pandemic, there is a very limited number of people able to attend mums funeral on 23rd February and there will be no wake. There will however be a big Liz style celebration of life when restrictions are lifted, all welcome! We have asked for donations to Great Oaks rather than flowers.
