For the last 18 months we have been fundraising for a new D class lifeboat. D787 arrived on station on 23rd Oct 2015. THANK YOU to everyone who helped us on our fundraising journey with generous donations. The official naming ceremony for D787 will take place in spring 2016. The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea.
We provide a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service around the coasts of the UK and RoI, as well as a seasonal lifeguard service on many of the busiest beaches in England and Wales.
The RNLI also works to promote sea and beach safety.
