We are asking people to sponsor a (Virtual) sleeper for £1, of course more would be gratefully accepted.
We must tackle a number of projects, firstly, changes in the
regulations mean we must upgrade our level crossings with new LED lights and
electronics in the immediate future. This will allow us to reopen the Railway
to Northallerton to allow passenger trains to reach us from the national
network and trains will be able to call at our award winning station at
Scruton.
You can help!  We have
launched this appeal to sell 1 million virtual sleepers at £1 each so that
everyone can have the chance to contribute to our future development.  So come on folks, dig deep, put your pound in
the tin (or as much as you wish) and your name on the form and play your part
in keeping the Wensleydale Railway on the right track.

We will record all the names of sponsors in a book at Leeming Bar station. Those donating £15 or more will receive a certificate to say Thank You
