Story
Learning the teachings of the Qur’an is a vital component of the Islamic faith. But despite this, thousands of vulnerable children and orphans across the world are deprived of their right to an education. In addition, many of these children must begin to earn a living and contribute to their family when they are still very young.
Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust are committed to empowering children from underprivileged families and offering them a Qur’anic education through their Hafiz Sponsorship Programme. This provides them with the opportunity to read and understand the Holy Qur’an, as well as providing a rudimentary secular education. Their dedicated Hifz schools provide children with food, shelter and healthcare thanks to the generous contributions of our donors. Since the sponsorship program began, they have helped hundreds of young boys and girls complete their Hifz studies.
Sponsorship includes:
- Uniform and Clothing
- Teaching advanced skills
- Qualified teachers
- Medical care
- Daily meals
Sponsoring 1 Hafiz for a year is £180 but any amount you donate will be extremely beneficial and a huge means of sadaqah jaariyah, the reward of which will only be multiplied in these last 10 nights in shaa Allah. All donations are zakat eligible as well.
Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“When a person dies, his deeds are cut off except for three: Continuing charity, knowledge that others benefited from, and a righteous son who supplicates for him.
