We help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children across the UK

Story

"When you are told that your child will be dead by lunchtime, life naturally seems devoid of hope.  Nine years since that happened to us, Oscar has finished his GCSEs and will turn 17 on 14th July 2016."

As Oscar's Dad I am enormously proud not only of him but of everyone in shipping who has helped us raised over £1.3m to support life-saving research which is helping to beat childhood cancers andimmune diseases.

Please help us reach our £1.5m target by sponsoringSpinnaker's Dragon Boat team which is racing on 16th September in London

Thank you!

Phil Parry

About the OSCARCampaign:

The OSCAR Campaign raises funds towards areas of urgentneed at Great Ormond Street Hospital and its research partner, the UCLInstitute of Child Health. Currently, the campaign is raising money to supportlifesaving research into childhood cancers and immune diseases, the results ofwhich will improve children’s lives not just at Great Ormond Street Hospitalbut worldwide.

The campaign is led by Phil Parry, Chairmanof Spinnaker Global, whose son Oscar was diagnosed with leukaemia at just threeyears old. Oscar received three life-saving transplants at GOSH, one of whichwas a ground-breaking stem cell transplant. He is living proof of theimportance of pioneering research.
