Story

We're a team of cancer researchers living and working in Lausanne Switzerland. Over the last few years, a lot of amazing people have done a lot of amazing things to help raise money for our work to find new treatments for brains cancers. Last year, Sir John Royden set out to swim the entire length of Lake Geneva to raise over £300,000 for The Brain Tumour Charity. And Todd Hooper and his team rowed across the whole Atlantic ocean to raise £180,000 for The Brian Cross Memorial Trust, which donated the entirety to our research. We've devoted our careers to improving the lives of cancer patients, but we couldn't do our research without incredible efforts like these. So we want to do our part to help our partners in the fight against cancer.

We're taking part in the first ever Maillot d'Or Lake Geneva relay race where teams of racers will swim the entire length Lake Geneva.  That's 73km over 48 hours.  Our goal is to represent the local research community, to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity, and to hopefully not drown! You can take part in supporting us by giving generously to this great charity. We're going to need all the help and motivation we can get, because like our name says, cancer researchers are bad swimmers.

Here is our full team!

Update! We'd like to give a huge thanks to Lunaphore, an amazing biotech company based here in Lausanne that is helping us raise money for this event!  Special thanks to Alexandra Svoboda and her team for organizing!
