This Christmas, Age UK Birmingham and Age UK Sandwell hope to bring some Christmas cheer to older people who may be feeling lonely or isolated. This year has been a challenging one for most of us, and in particular older people. Weve all spent time isolated from loved ones, but imagine experiencing isolation on a regular basis, not only from family and friends, but from society too! Imagine a Christmas day with no hot food, no gifts and no one to talk to? Age UK Birmingham and Age UK Sandwell are here to offer a wide range of services, including a hot meals service, information and advice and a friendship telephone call and buddy service, during the festive period to our older community.
