We campaign in every London borough to make cycling safe & enjoyable for all.

Story

I'm an active member of the Ealing Cycling Campaign because I believe we need to make our roads safe for everyone.  As a father, I want to see our city become one where my daughter can ride to school safely, and as a son I want to see a London my mother could cycle in without fear.

Our parent organisation, the London Cycling Campaign, has done amazing work helping us all put pressure on the Mayor and Transport for London to make cycling safer.  One need only cycle from Blackfriars Bridge to the Houses of Parliament on the new protected routes to feel the difference that campaigning can make!

To carry on this great work, the LCC needs to raise money to operate. I'm asking for a little bit of your hard-earned cash towards that, please, by way of sponsoring me to cycle the 400 km (250 miles in old money) from London to Amsterdam on my heavy Dutch bike.  I'm a heavy man myself, so this will be quite a milestone in my life!

This trip is now run by the participants in memory of our departed friend David eales. This means that now all of your donation goes directly towards helping the LCC to campaign for something that's good for our health, our air and our economy. Thank you very much for anything that you can give.

Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to London Cycling Campaign. This is the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the LCC.
