Story
As a secondary school teacher I know so many young people in Scotland who suffer from poor mental health. I worry that, especially in lockdown, young people don't know who to go to and how to access the support that they need.
If you are feeling low, alone, anxious or scared or anything else then please tell someone. It could be a friend, a family member a teacher (we're still here for you). Anyone. Let someone know. It's okay to ask for help. It's okay not to be okay.
Just as importantly, if you are worried about someone then please reach out to them. A wee text or call might help more than you think.
I've wanted to shave my head for a while now. There's a good chance I may look like a freckly potato, but if I can raise some money for a really worthwhile cause then it'll definitely be worth it. If you can donate anything at all, then please do. If you can't, then please message or phone someone you care about or might be worried about, who may or may not be alone during lockdown, and ask if they're okay. Let's look out for one another.
Look after your beautiful beautiful heads. It's what's on the inside that counts! xxx
