Story
In January I turned 30 so I've decided to challenge myself.
(more events to be added and I've paid to get involved in all of them myself already so all fundraising will go to the charities)
April
- Skydiving (I know I'll love it but also that I'll be totally petrified)
- Beginning lessons to get my full motorbike license
May
- Flying lessons to kick of getting my private pilots license
- Taking part in Blenheim Palace Triathlon. I haven't had a bike since I was a child and I can't swim well and I hate running so this is going to be particularly enjoyable.
October
- Inverness 10k (as mentioned, hate running but hopefully by October I'll feel differently. Otherwise, I'll plod around the course thinking about the chips and beers I'll consume post run.)
- Sleepout organised by 1625 Independent People - a night sleeping outside to experience just a tiny, tiny fraction of what it's like to be homeless.
Who I'm fundraising for
I'm fundraising for two amazing Bristol charities - 1625 Independent People and Bristol Mind.16 25 work with young people who are homeless, leaving care, or at risk of homelessness in the South West and Bristol Mind aims to promote a positive view of mental health and provide services that are accessible, relevant and empowering to the people using them. Please donate what you can to help support these brilliant causes.
