FINALUPDATE: Hi Everyone! One final update from me. I will be taking part in the London Marathon virtual event this Sunday, 4th October, running and walking 26.2 miles around Sheffield to help raise money for a cause really close to my heart. Do sponsor me if you can!
UPDATE: The London Marathon is delayed until October but of course I'm still fundraising for Crohn's and Colitis UK.
As part of the 2.6 challenge, on Monday 27th April I will be doing 26 exercise classes in 26 hours. Please donate and help our charity sector during this horrendous time. Thank you so much and follow my instagram for all the updates on the day: @splateau
Hey! I've decided once again to run the London Marathon this year for Crohns Disease and here's why...:
Most of my lovely friends and family know that I’ve suffered with Crohn’s disease since I was 16. After many operations and some super sexy scars, I’m really lucky to lead a relatively normal life. However it’s taken a lot of treatment and some incredible doctors to get me here. So many people out there are suffering with some horrible symptoms that come with Crohn’s and many others, myself included, could easily come out of remission in the future.
So once again (I must be completely mad) I’ve decided to run the London Marathon and raise some more money for this amazing charity! @crohnsandcolitisuk
If you could take 5 mins and give me a little sponser I would be hugely grateful and it would make these horrible runs in the wind and rain (maybe) a little bit easier! See you on October 4th... #whydoidothesecrazythings #oldernotwiser #roundtwo #sillysoph #londonmarathon2020
