Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
So after not being able to run the London Marathon in 2020 due to Covid 19, I deferred my place until October 2022 and cant wait to take on this training challenge for a second time :)
This October I will be taking on the biggest challenge of my life to run 26.2 miles around our capital city London. For anyone that knows me well I am not an athlete in any form 🤣 I also really don’t enjoy running!! So why do it you are all thinking....
I have learnt in my 31 years that life is simply to short and can be cruel to so many people. If I can achieve one thing that brings so much help to so many people then why not? I am lucky enough to be physically able (well I hope to be) to cross the finish line and if I can raise a huge £3000 along the way I would have done something amazing to help so many thousands of people.
My family have been unfortunate enough to see this awful illness first hand after loosing my Nan in December 2017. Every step I take in that 26.2 miles I know I will have her by my side cheering me on and I hope in doing so I can’t help fund research into this cruel disease.
Anything you can spare will be so greatly appreciated and will help me in the long winter months of training I have ahead.
Thank you for taking the time to support me. 🥰
