So who or what are softpower education?
Soft Power Education (SPE) is a British registered charity and Ugandan NGO working with communities in Uganda to improve quality of life through education. We focus on five key, directly related areas;

So what am I doing?
I am spending my time sharing my skills and knowledge as a Primary School teacher. I am teaching lessons to pre-school and primary children, helping teachers with their lesson plans, creating teaching resources, painting new schools and generally mucking in where needed!
I have seen the great things that softpower are doing here, and as a long term volunteer, I feel that I can make a contribution in improving the education experience for Ugandan children. I have to donate money each week to the charity to enable me to stay and volunteer here - the money goes straight to the charity where they spend it on resources for schools, children and teachers. I will update this page with photos and information on how your money is being spent.
