First of all I would like to Thank you for visiting my JustGiving Page! On the 17th of May I will be completing a tandem skydive at 12,000ft. Aswell as this being a MASSIVE personal achievement the main reason I am doing this is to raise money for Havens Hospices. As most of you will be aware I lost my beautiful Mum to cancer back in May last year, my mum received AMAZING end of life care by Havens Hospices in the last few weeks of her life. The hospice (which is based in Southend) not only provided dignity, respect and excellent care for my mum but also helped myself and my family members a great deal at this very sad time in our lives and continued to provide support for us once my mum had reached the end of her life. I have attended a few of Havens Hospices fundraising events since May last year, including a 5K run dressed as Santa Claus, and I have also got involved in a campaign to encourage more young pepole to help raise vital funds for the Hospice! (You may have seen my article in the Echo and 'That's Life' magazine last year). I would be eternally grateful if you could sponsor me for my Skydive and I would like to stress that ALL of your donations will be going to Havens. This is a cause so close to myself and my family and close friends hearts and it really would mean so much, after all you never know when you yourself or a family member may need the amazing care Havens Hopsices provide for terminally ill adults, children and their families!
