When patients in London suffer life-threatening injury, only our team can provide them with the help they need. With your support, we can perform complex procedures to save lives where others can’t. We can get there in time to make a difference and provide hope for the patient and their loved ones.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running my first 10K race to raise money for London's Air Ambulance.

In May 2012 my twin brother, Charlie, had a terrible motorbike accident that left him in a life threatening condition.

London’s Air Ambulance were the first to respond to the accident. Their ability to reach him so quickly and provide him with the emergency treatment that he needed was ultimately what saved his life that day.

It was a tough decision to choose who to raise money for but after asking Charlie, he thought that London's Air Ambulance were an extremely worthy cause and perhaps one that don't get the recognition they deserve.

I think it’s important to mention the fantastic care provided by King's College Hospital and St Thomas' Hospital who played a huge part in treating Charlie and supporting him through recovery.

As many of you know Charlie is now fully recovered and doing better than ever.
