Story

My name is Sophia and I'm skydiving at a hair raising 15,000ft, in memory of my son, Monroe.

I've previously raised money to support the research grants focused on fighting NEC. Something close to my heart after I lost one of my twins as a baby to this.  I can only hope that with developing treatments no other parent will have to face this.

The jump is scheduled for April 22nd 2023.

Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research.  For 65 years we’ve helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Our research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. But we urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children and we can’t do it without you.Join our fight for little lives.

Thank you.
