Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I will be raising money for Bliss, babies born too soon, too small, and too sick. By participating in the Bristol Buggy Push on the 1st Aug, specifically raising money for Southmead NICU. 

On Christmas Eve 2014 my husband and I were lucky enough to welcome the arrival of our beautiful baby girl Alexandra. She arrived six weeks early and was a petite 4lb14oz, as a result she was cared for in the Neo Natal Unit at Southmead over Christmas. The team were fantastic and the care and support we all received as a new family was unforgettable.

My strongest memory is walking into to see her on Christmas day after her first night in the world, to find her incubator surrounded by gifts from Santa, something Bliss arranges for all the babies on the ward. What could have been a very stressful and upsetting time was made very special. I owe Bliss for making our daughters first Christmas as special as any new baby's would have been, and want to take this opportunity to give something back, and ensure that they can continue this amazing work for amazing babies.
