Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page... just need to get a few disclaimers out of the way:

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Now for some info about what Wild Futures do:

When primates are captured and kept as pets, they are often fed processed human foods that are inappropriate and unhealthy for them. They are also taken when they are young, away from their mothers and the rest of their social group, and kept in isolation in living conditions that are too small for them. Fortunately many of these captured primates are rescued, and taken to live instead at sanctuaries and zoos where they are given a better life and a better diet.

Wild Futures guarantee a home for life for all rescued monkeys. They give individuals the opportunity to socialise and form natural bonds with other monkey and provide an expert team of carers with the relevant skills to meet the complex physical, social and emotional needs of each individual 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In addition to this they provide educational outreach for schools and universities to the general public.

It is truly amazing what they do, however, feeding and rehabilitating these monkeys and apes costs money and as a charity they are dependent on donations.

...so for 10 days in March I will be on 'The Monkey Diet':
