Story
In the last few years so many people we love have been diagnosed with first or secondary cancer. Mum (Elaine) herself was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010. It was the most challenging time of our lives, and without the help and support of services similar to the East Cheshire Hospice we would have been lost.
Hospices around the country play such an important role in caring for people with chronic conditions, not only this but they support their loved ones through the whole process too.
A very special couple that helped us through Mum's Breast Cancer was Carl and Sarah Lamptey. Without their support and encouragement we would have been lost. Sarah has asked that we all do this walk in honour of East Cheshire Hospice, a service that has helped her immensely.
So on the 25th of April most of the family will be coming together to complete the Starlight Walk in aid East Cheshire Hospice. As you know since her Breast Cancer treatment Mum struggles to walk very far these days. So the 2.5k she is attempting on the night is a massive undertaking for her. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
Love from
Sonya, Elaine & Steve xxxx
