When I first read the work email asking for team members to take part in the half marathon for the guide dogs I thought that it would be a great way to get to learn how to run whilst raising money for a great charity.

Our first team run consisted of running to a lamp post and walking to the next, I remember thinking 'What am I doing?' as it was a lot harder than I expected.

Over the last couple of months we have all grown stronger and more determined each day. We keep each other motivated when we feel like giving up and I feel as though I have made a bunch of new friends along the way!
