Macmillan Cancer Support is here to help everyone with cancer and their families live life as fully as they can, providing many many types of medical, practical and emotional support. The charity is one I hold very close to my heart as they were very influential in the last few months of my mum’s life before she passed away from terminal lung cancer a few years ago.

It is said that by 2020, almost one in two people will have cancer. My aim is to raise £1500 for the charity by taking part in the 22 mile Macmarathon (approximately 7-10 hours of walking) so they can continue to reach more of those suffering and support them through the illness.
