Story
Hi!
My name’s Becky and along with my daughter Indigo, we run Social Distance Tots: a free, online baby and toddler group every weekday during the Covid 19 pandemic.
Whilst our baby group is (and always will be) free, if you feel that you would like to donate any money for this, we would love you to donate to Phoebe’s Light.
Phoebe is from the Isle of Wight (where we are also from) and was born with Trisomy 18, Edwards Syndrome. Sadly, most babies born with Edwards Syndrome do not survive birth, and if they do, only survive a matter of days.
Phoebe is defeating her odds and is currently 20 months old!!
As you can probably imagine, Phoebe spends a fair bit of time in hospital, and as her veins and so small, it is hard for the doctors to find them to administer medicines etc.
A vein finder - or Phoebe’s Light - would be used across the children’s ward, to not just help Phoebe, but other babies and children too.
I know that this is a very hard, uncertain time for all of us and a lot of us (including us) are facing financial struggles right now. However, if you could please donate anything you can afford, even just £2 will make a huge difference to this very worthy cause.
If you cannot afford to donate at this time, I completely understand please do continue to watch our videos, including our Easter Sunday Special.
Thanks so much in advance,
Becky and Indigo xx
