Story
I am climbing Snowdon in order to help the people of Afghanistan as they are on the verge of facing a catastrophic famine, and their lives are at stake. Afghanistan is experiencing one of the worst droughts in 27 years, and as a result food, water and supplies are extremely scarce.
I'm participating in this challenge as it's for a vital cause and I enjoy exploring the outdoors especially the mountains.
Please support this campaign as much as you can as it requires a collective effort to aid the people of Afghanistan. Also, by collectively making dua, uniting and sharing the situation with as many people as possible. It's also an opportunity for the global community to unite together in order to alleviate the suffering of the people of Afghanistan.
Originally from Yemen so I can personally relate to the situation in Afghanistan as it's quite similar.
22 million people more than half of the population are facing acute food insecurity in the next three months. Islamic Relief, a member of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC), is on the ground delivering vital food pack, water storage kits and winter clothing, as well as providing medical care through health centres supporting displaced families.
Please donate to Islamic Relief's Afghanistan Emergency now and help save lives. £50 can provide hygiene and water storage kits for a displaced family. £100 can provide a food pack for a displaced family for a month. £550 can provide a displaced family with emergency shelter.
