Story
A very dear friend of mine tragically took his own life on 10th April 2013. This has devastated his family and friends and all who knew Mark as the fun loving, cheeky, funny, tight fisted, caring and loyal friend, karaoke singing, risk taker and legend that he was.
The day of this race would of been his 47th birthday, I'm running it in his memory and trying to raise some money for the Depression Alliance so that another family and friends don't have to feel the loss that all who knew him do every day. I will be scaling tough hills sliding in the mud braving the cold and doing a waist high water crossing into Himley Hall grounds before the uphill run back to go up the 105 uneven hillside steps and run across the events field in Baggeridge Country Park back across the finish line.
Mark may your spark live on in the hearts and memories of all who knew and loved you every time they think of you may they smile at a memory of something funny that you did or said cos once they met you, they'd never forget you :-)
Please dig deep and give anything you can no matter how small it all helps....
