Story

Our Fellowship of two daring Hobbits and a fearless Wizard in full costume will be walking 5k through "The Shire" (well, Moseley...) to Sarehole Mill Museum - inspiration for a young J.R.R. Tolkien - to support the work of Birmingham Museums Trust.

Even though their doors are closed for visitors, they are working hard delivering essential support through the Sarehole Mill Community Shop to serve the local community through the pandemic.

COVID 19 is having a massive impact on them and what they do for the city of Birmingham. They are losing thousands of pounds a week because making money to run the museums, from tickets, shops and cafes, is no longer possible.

Please donate to support their valuable work with local communities. Your help now will mean they can continue to support the people of Birmingham through this difficult time and beyond. Thank you.
