Thank you for viewing my just giving page for my up and coming skateathon from London to Paris.
On July 31st I am going to start skateboarding from Big Ben at 06:15am and take on an intense trip which will take 7 days. This event is not one I have found online or on some random website, I have thought, planned, and paying for this trip out of my own pocket, all donations will be given straight to brake charity, which is the charity I am fundraising for.
My reason behind such an event is all for my friend Ryan green, he was a good friend of mine that in a tragic accident, lost his life on the 14th October 2016 at the young age of just 23.
This was a heartbreaking moment for all of his friends and family and we will all love and miss him dearly.
The method behind my madness of such an event, also plays into Ryan's personality, he was fearless, he almost had no boundaries for his skating/rollerblading sport, and seemed to never stop to take a breath, just pure 'shredding' every time I would see him skate. So I thought of this event to be mixed of endurance, no fear, and to take things to the next level.
I have never even been to France for one, so I don't know much of the country or the roads and paths or if it's very skateable at all. I also will just be working with my skateboard, and a notebook which will have maps and English to French translations etc.
In Ryan's memory, his family were fundraising in his memory for a charity called Brake.
Please help donate in Ryan's memory.
