Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

We are raising funds to support an extremely rural village in Botswana. Tsutsubega village is home to approximately 600 people. The area is drought ridden and these communities lack access to water - leaving them with long and tiring walks to find water from any stream that may not have dried up.

Africa Foundation has helped by drilling a borehole for the village and we are raising money to make it easier for families to access water sources and carry water from the borehole or new wells to their homes.

A well will shorten the distance people have to travel to access water and 'hippo water rollers' enable 90 litres of water to be rolled in a barrel rather than being carried in buckets, a task which cases back and neck injury.

The more money we raise the more families in this community we can assist!

Thank you for your support!
