Story

Battered, wet, tired but all conquering – the Sir Tristram sails into to Port Patrick in aid of Help for Heroes.

It was something akin to scenes from George Clooney’s film ‘The Perfect Storm’ at times but the boys crewing the boat with the glorious name of Sir Tristram did made in to Portpatrick and set a new World Record.

We wish to thank all the people who have donated on and off line to our charity and pay tribute to all the British Armed Forces - who are the real Heroes.

The whole Sir Tristram Project is aimed as raising as much money as we can for Help For Heroes - which cares for wounded, injured and disabled servicemen coming back [mainly from Afghanistan]. Any money you donate will go directly to them. The whole costs of making Sir T has been borne by the crew themselves.

Anyone donating £10 or more can have a free DVD posted to them [of all the films] by emailing pjm@britishcinemagreats.com and leaving you postal address!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now.
